From LSNAV 2018 W1 to NAV 2018 AU CU4 Importing Error

Hi Experts, I have an issue when trying to compile my imported objects. I have finished with merging the txt files moving from w1 LS NAV Objects to AU CU 4, but I am getting an issue when tying to compile them I get for the tables:
Unable to process table changes because the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment cannot connect to the specified Microsoft Dynamics

NAV Server Instance.

The funny thing is NAV Server Instane works fine and runs before the import. After the import I get this, and have to restart the NAV Server Instance, which still won't work anymore. It happens for all the tables that I try to compile, whether individual or in batch as all tables

    Hi!

Try to select NAV instance manually:

    Also could helps:

Tools -> Sync. Schema For All Tables -> Force

Try to Synchronize the Tables by using Tools --> Sync. Schema for Tables with Force or run the PowerShell Command Sync-NavTenant <serverinstance> –Mode Force

Check this article for more information

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have tried that,  and even though my NAV instance is running, and is configured to that database, still I get when I try to Sync Table with Force:

There are no NAV Server instances available for this database. Your must ensure that a NAV Server Instance is running and is configured to use the database before you perform this activity,

However, I note that when I first tried to compile, the instance stopped itself somehow, and then from that point whenever I try to  compile, it keeps spitting out the same error in the Error List.

    1. Check that NetworkService Account have permissions on your new database.

    2. Try to run instance with user account which has admin permission on server (and dbowner on sql server).

Hi All, I was able to fix the issue by changing my port numbers for the server instance, and then Tools -> Sync. Schema For All Tables -> Force.

    Thanks,

    Kush
