Custom Entity - Regarding Field

Hello,

I created a custom entity with a 'Regarding' field and would like to set it up to look up to multiple entities. Can someone please assist, how can i achieve this ?

* should be the same as the 'Regarding' field for activities, task etc

    regarding field is a special field type in crm system and you can't use  this field type other than activity type entity.  if your custom entity is Activity type then crm by default adds regarding field you dont need new field. If your custom entity is not a activity type than there is no way you can replicate regading field type in your custom entity until you add lookup for each field type in your custom entity and show/hide thsose custom fields based on some condition.

    My custom entity is activity type and it has regarding field.

    But my problem is that I need regarding field to be able to lookup product entity along with other entities like organisasion , contact and my custom entities.Can we extend regarding field accessibility to other entities?

    You need to enable your entity for activites. See docs.microsoft.com/.../enable-a-custom-entity-to-appear-in-the-regarding-lookup
