Hi all.

in customer service we have a dashboard showing cases, but the default filter of /This Quarter/ is useless as you want to see all cases at least Fiscal year!

how can we change this?

regards
Martin

    Yes,

I'm aware you can change it how ever you are only confined to a few options where a quarter is the max that you can set. We would have wanted at least a whole year.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Time Frame is not customizable, you cannot add new filter rows, you can just set a custom time frame each time.
There are some ideas in the Dynamics 365 forums that describe the same scenarios as yours and you can vote for them if you like them:

    Thanks for the replies,

however we want to be able to set it to default yearly, I know we can set custom filter how ever you are not able to set it to default. And like for customer service showing cases on a quarterly basis is not ideal.

So are we able to add a yearly option and set it as default?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add new options to this time filter, this is due to product design.
However, there is a Custom Time Frame option.
If the user selects this option, they will be able to enter a Start Date and an End Date. This provides a way to limit the data range to accommodate custom time range requirements, and you can manually select the date range as needed.

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li

It should be possible to change that filter in your Interactive experience Dashboard.

Look for that setting in the Dashboard components of your solution.
