Need help with security settings

I would like to restrict my managers from seeing reports, primarily sales reports. I have set the security setting on reports to hidden and left the utilities as changeable. Problem is that they cannot settle the credit cards at the end of the day. How can I accomplish what I am trying to do?

No Cardwork, that would be a lot of work

Just go to File-->Security--> Set Security

Click OK when prompted

Now Press Ctrl+Alt+S to set the Menu Security and change the color from Black to Blue

Now right click on any submenu you want to disable and tick the appropriate Security level for the Managers when prompted.

Thanks for the reply. When I went back into the security settings, I saw that there were several different utilities settings that I overlooked. I originally only changed the generic utilities setting so now I will keep changing the other ones until I find the one which will allow them to settle the credit cards.

Hi Cardworks,

I dont know which RMS version you are using or maybe your question is not clear, but as far as I know Reports and Utilities are two different Menus so if you dont want your managers to view reports then just disable the whole Reports menu and leave the Utilities so they can still Settle credit card.
