Is there a way to sort by shelf no from Order Pick Ticket

ReportReport

We print this report from a sales order, and it doesn't have the option to sort, is there a way in the report to sort by shelf no. We make use of NAV 2009  SP 1

We do not make use of warehouse shipment, which would have given us the opportunity to create a pick and make use of the functionality of choosing the sorting.

Thanks.

    You'll need to modify the Pick Instruction report that prints from the Sales Order page (it is Report ID 214 in NAV 2018; I can't remember for sure if it's the same in NAV 2009) from the NAV Development Environment (it's called the Classic Client in your version) > Object Designer.

    From the Object Designer, Design the Report ID 214, and you can control the sorting order. Depending on how the report is written, it may either be a property on the data item, or have to be done by code. For someone who is a NAV developer, this is a fairly straightforward change.

    Note: Always make a backup of any NAV object you plan to change. :-)

    I hope this helps. If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"

    The report in 2009 is called Order Pick Ticket report, and and the dataitem used is the sales line, there is a code in the back end that pull the information from the item specifically the shelf no, but for the life of me not sure how to use this information to create a sorting in the report.

    IF Item.GET("Sales Line"."No.") THEN BEGIN

     ShelfNo := Item."Shelf No.";
