Hide Server-Side Synchronization Failures Dashboard

Posted on by 35

Hello,

I would like to know : How to hide the system dashboard Server-Side Synchronization Failures from my Dashboard selector ?

Usually I'll just enable the security roles for the dashboard that I don't want to show.

However with the Server-Side Synchronization Failures dashboard, I cannot do that.

So now I am stack with this dashboard. Unless I delete it, is it a good idea ?

Thanks for your reply,

UPDATE: Next day the Dashboard was gone. Don't know why (I refreshed several times after initial change) but maybe these settings are updated/published in some interval. But problem solved (with a little patience) :-)

Same here... changing this setting didn't work for me neither. Found this one to try next - is that the only way to get rid of it? I believe that will remove it for Admins too?

I am having this exact same issue, the Dashboard appeared a while back for no real reason that I could see, but this solution did not fix it for me. I went to edit the EnableSssItemLevelMonitoring setting, which was already turned to false, but this did not do anything. I even tried to switch it to true, then back to false (using "reset default" button), but the Dashboard is still there (and doesn't work as well). Anyone else still having this issue?

Thank you.  I do not know why this dashboard starting showing a few weeks ago but your fix (noted above) got rid of it!

t actually worked out by installing the OrganizationSettingsEditor

    1. You need to first, click on Add in the 'Aciton' column of the parameter EnableSssItemLevelMonitoring. So you can modify the value for your organization.

    2.  Then click on edit

    3. In the pop up click on Reset Default, even it is already set to false !!

Then refresh your dashboard page and the dashboard should be gone !

Thanks again Kokulan for the hint !

    Hi Pravin,

I don't get your suggestion. What do you mean by "uncheck option from  the "System Administrator"" ?

Is this "Select-Server Synchronization Monitoring" dashboard related to "Server-Side Synchronization Failures" dashboard ?

    Thanks for your reply Kokulan.

I checked the value of EnableSssItemLevelMonitoring is already set to False.

But actually, I don't know why we have the dashboard displayed. We didn't do anything and it appeared.

    Hi Chung Hin Anthony Cheung,

There is one setting in customization that you can hide OOB dashboards for system admin as well as normal users.

Navigate to settins -> customizaion-> customize the system

click on dashboard and select "Select-Server Synchronization Monitoring", uncheck option from  the "System Administrator"

    Hi

Follow the link below where it explains how you can enable it, use the same approach to disable it
