Page Inspect and Personalize not loading

Hi,
Has anyone else been experiencing when selecting Inspect pages and data (CTL+ALT+F1) or Personalise, that the page just hangs (Working on it...) and never loads?
This has been occurring since yesterday for all our environments, including Cronus

    In addition to original issue reported, the same applies when running Table Information.  
    Table Information page never loads.

    Hi,
     
    I have checked in two different region Instances, and no such error found.
    Try to open D365 BC into incognito mode and try again, if you still face errors check internet.

    Hi, 
    Thanks for the suggestion, I tried Incognito using Chrome browser and In Private from Microsoft Edge Browser, still having the same issue.
    Internet is connected with no issues.
     
    Any other suggestions?

    In Dynamics 365 Business Central, the issue is common issue i have seen on the community where the "Inspect pages and data" or "Personalize" options hang and display a "Working on it..." message often occurs due to permission or page locking problems. The Page Inspection feature is valuable for understanding the underlying data structure of pages, but it requires users to have Execute permission on System object 5330. If these permissions are missing, the Page Inspection pane might not fully load or get stuck. Additionally, if a page has been locked from personalizationeither due to older customizations, role-tailored client restrictions, or admin settings—the actions to inspect or personalize will not proceed and may hang indefinitely.
     
    To resolve this issue, first confirm that the user has the necessary permissions, including the D365 Troubleshoot permission set, which covers access to system tools like Page Inspection. Next, check if the concerned page is locked from personalization and consider unlocking it; note that unlocking will reset any personalized changes. Also, verify if the user’s role or Role Center configuration is imposing restrictions that block personalization and adjust the role if necessary. Clearing the browser cache or trying a different environment can help eliminate session-related glitches. If the problem persists across different environments and users, reaching out to Microsoft support or deeper technical troubleshooting might be necessary.

    Yee, this is a known issue other BC users are reporting. Some posts on the Microsoft / Dynamics Community describe exactly the symptom: Inspect Pages & Data (CTRL+ALT+F1) or Personalize hanging / “Working on it…” indefinitely.

    Here are possible causes + what to try to fix it:

     Possible Causes

    Permissions issue: especially for system objects required to load full page metadata.

    Personalization records that are corrupted or contain errors.

    A recent version update / tenant issue in your BC version.

    Browser / client caching or session problems.

    Data load performance, if the page has many extensions, heavy fields or FlowFields, it may simply struggle to load the metadata.

    > It is very likely this is either a version-specific bug or related to personalized page metadata corruption.

    If the already shared suggestions are not working, I would recommend to raise support ticket with Microsoft.

    Yes issue exists and we too are facing it  , MS is working on it . Will intimate once the issue is solved .
