Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

If the Value - Not specified - is entered as VehicleCategorie, no modelid is allowed to be entered!

Hi Community,

I want to make a restriction in my table, that if I choose "Not specified" as VehicleCategorie, then therefore I shall not be allowed to choose a ModelId.

When I set VehicleCategorie to "Not specified",

is it possible that I would not be able to click on the field "ModelId" and not see the Dropdown Menu.

And therefore the value should be set to basically nothing (which means NULL?)

    How is Your Recommendation  "Just don't allow to edit that field when vehicle category is set to "Not specified" done in the Development ?
    Because in the properties of the field I can only set "AllowEdit" to either Yes or No.

    Can You make a field editable/ non editable by Code in Table-Level ?
