SSIS - KingswaySoft Error 429

Posted on by 325

Hi All,

Can anyone help me on my issue re: SSIS? The error is just like this that I cannot find the root cause of the issue.

[Contract Attachment Source [9]] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "KingswaySoft.IntegrationToolkit.SharePoint.SharePointServiceException: The remote server returned an error: (429). (Error Type / Reason: 429, Detailed Message: The remote server returned an error: (429).) (SSIS Integration Toolkit for Microsoft SharePoint, v4.4.0.699 - DtsDebugHost, v12.0.2000.8) System.Net.WebException(Status Reason: 429): The remote server returned an error: (429).

What I'm currently doing is to extract Sharepoint files to an SQL Table. Anyone encountered this before?

    Hi,

I tested it again this morning and it suddenly works. Seems like a bandwidth issue.

But thanks for the support. It is working fine now.

Unfortunately, we could not reproduce the issue on our end, uploading GIF and JPG files worked fine. Can you please send the full error message to our Support channel (support@kingswaysoft.com) so we can take a further look?

    Hi Kingswaysoft Inc.

I found out that the cause of the issue is when I upload GIF and JPG format. The 429 error didn't occur for other file format. Would you be able to confirm why?

    Thanks!

Based on what we found, a 429 error code will be thrown when an user has sent too many requests in a specific time period. You can take a look at the below articles which might give you some ideas of how to avoid hitting the throttling limit of SharePoint.

    429 – Too many requests
