ISV Sought for Nested Serialization

Posted on by 10
While picking raw materials for a production order, lot (batch numbers) and serial numbers need to be recorded as used on that order, for tracing ability.  With this, nested serialization may occur within produced items.

Nested serialization/batch processes do not exist in D365.

An automated process can be supported for production orders with a quantity to produce of only 1, where picking of serialized raw materials can be picked with the handheld devices, posted through operations, or at consumption point on the order.

With production orders higher than a quantity to produce of 1, posting processes do not trace what serialized raw materials were included with the finished good, if using handheld devices, job terminals, or D365 interface when posting journals higher than a quantity of 1.
