Coupon Redemption on Return Order

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement which is as follows:

I create a coupon with usage limit : 1, after coupon is redeemed on point of sale system , customer decides to return the order because of any specific reason.

In default system functionality, POS does not let me redeem the same coupon number again even though it was made part of return order and logically customer hasn't redeemed their coupon. 

I want to authorize customer to re-redeem their coupon whenever they want to.

Please guide on how to achieve this.

    Hi Usama,

    we worked with you on a support ticket and I provide there a summary which can be followed up by any community member:

    In standard, once the coupon is used and the limit is set to 1, the same coupon cannot be used again. You would need to create a new coupon for the customer if they return a product back to the store. This is an intended design.

    If you need a different behavior, you would need to create a customization.

    In case you consider this would be a feature nice to have in the system in the future and expand the current necessities, please enter this as a product suggestion at experience.dynamics.com/.../.
