Invoice/Memo Screen Customize Mode Doc Type Change

Posted on by 195

I want to hide the CS (cash sale) option in the dropdown but can't figure out how to do it.  I tried unchecking "active" in the properties list for CS but that makes everything disappear. Any suggestions?

That is what I tried to do and what didn't work. Removing CS or even marking it as inactive in Customization Mode hides all of the choices.

    Anita,

That field is an SAFCombo box.  The only way to hide an option is if you have Customization Manager.  If you do, you can open that screen, go to customization mode, right click that field, select properties and modify the List property removing CS and the description.  If you want this removed for all users, be sure to go to Administration (if 7.0 or later or Customize in using 6.5) before opening the screen and set the level to all users.

If you do not have Customization Manager then you have no way to do this.
