How to create/clone a new Dynamics 365 organization

Can someone point me in the right direction and/or explain the steps on how to correctly create a new CRM organization (under a different currency than my original)?  A user on the forum helped me realize this is the only way to switch base currencies which is what my goal is.  I assume I'll need to reinstall the solutions or is there an easy way to move this?  What happens if the current org takes up 70% of the allocated space?

Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

    I believe you're talking about this thread - community.dynamics.com/.../workaround-for-base-currency

First of all I would highly encourage you to close the thread if you got the reply that answers your question clicking "Yes" under the label "Did this answer your question?".

Answering this question - are you online or onprem?

    If you're on-prem then check this article - docs.microsoft.com/.../add-a-new-organization

    If you're online check this - docs.microsoft.com/.../add-instance-subscription

Thanks Andrew for the reply. I saw that earlier however my question is more on the export import side. After the instance is created how to i get everything from the old setup back (data, customizations, work flows, solutions)?

If you have any managed solutions you will have to get it from vendors that developed it and install it first.

After that create a solution and put inside all customizations you did like custom entities, fields, workflows e.t.c., import from current instance and import to destination.

Regarding the import there is no easy way so you will have to use some tools that can move your data between instances like SSIS.
