Hello Everyone,

My company contains of seperate teams. These teams however are also connected with eachother.

So for example: i have team 1, team 2 team 3, team 4, team 5 and team 6. But Team 1 & Team 2 are HRM, Team 3 and team 4 are Operations and Team 5 & 6 are Finance. How can I bundle team 1 and team 2 to HRM, and so on.

I want to have an overview of which teams are connected to which department.

Eventually i want to create the opportunity list where i can see what team can do what.

I really hope someone can help me!

Thanks in Advance.

    See here for a more comprehensive guide on adding fields: www.microsoft.com/.../create-or-edit-entity-fields.aspx

    and on adding fields to a form: www.microsoft.com/.../add-a-field-to-a-form.aspx

    Navigate to Settings->Customization->Customize the system.

    Locate the Team entity in the new window that pops up and select the fields section. From here you can add a new field of type Option Set (probably call it "Department" or something similar but without the quotes) and then specify which options should be included.

    Save the field and then go to the forms section for Team. From here, select your main form (most likely the one called "Team") and open.

    Add the newly created field to the form, save and publish.

    After this you should be able to edit each team and set the corresponding department.

    Hi

    It sounds like you should add an Option Set to the Team entity which contains the different departments as options. Then on Team 1 and 2 you set the value of this to HRM etc. When you are constructing views and dashboards you can just add the department criteria to your filters and then get a view for HRM, a view for Finance etc.
