Hi Experts,

Today I want to discuss that topic mentioned in Subject.

Can we Disabled that Icon in Phone Field in new version of Mscrm?

I tried multiple JavaScript and search multiple forum none of worked.

Is it true that we don't have any thing for disabled that icon either in code or OOB.

NOTE:- The final solution I found somewhere is we may have to use business rule or create calculated field to copy phone value to normal Text field in order to disable feature.

    Hello,

Looking at this new button on my trial, it seems like a new functionality implemented with the Unified Interface.

Previously, the phone number was a link, that made a call when you clicked on it. Now they seem to have changed the link to a button.

Also since the button is defined on a field level, it does not seem possible to interact with it in supported ways.

There is always the alternative of replacing it with a custom text field, like you already mentioned.
You can also try to open a ticket with support, and they can engage the Developers to find out more about this button.
