What happens when I click Follow on a case record?

When I click Follow on a Case record what really happens? Do I get notified when their is a change or something? Where do I go to see the new information?

Hi,

When you click "Follow" for a case, you will be able to see this case from the "Case I Follow" view, which will make it easy to track.

Hi Is there a way to notified by email for the cases I am following?

I am aware that there is a view to see the 'cases i am following' but would rather get an email notification

Hi USA80 ,

Out of the box, we do not have such available. But you can customize the system to accommodate such. I have done it in one of my implementations.
