Allow negative inventory would need to be enabled. Can be done at inventory setup level or item level

    Hi

As Josh mentioned you can use negative inventory.

    My questions are

    1) If you do not have enough in one location how you can transfer entire transfer order? does it make sense to transfer what you have and keep the rest open?

    2) If you have enough in location why you do not adjust inventory then transfer?

I think my main question is what is the business need here?

Be careful of allowing inventory to go negative this has inventory costing and accounting impacts.

Hi, more details about Negative Inventory in Business Central.

But in my testing, this doesn't solve the inventory check problem for transfer orders, so unfortunately I don't think the standard feature can do this, Transfer orders don’t allow negative quantities.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

I think this can be done today by using CreateAsyncJobToRevokeInheritedAccessRequest Class (Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.Messages) | Microsoft Learn
