Dear All,

I have setup a business central on-premise environment. I installed a SSL certificate on the production server and everything seems to work just fine. I connect the business central app. The only thing that is holding me back is the fact that i cannot seem to connect to the Odata URL feed when using the nameserver.

From within the company network I am able to connect to Odata Feed with server IP adress instead of the named server.

SO http://IPAdresss:7048/ODATAV4/.................... works. However if I try https://servername.domainname:portNo/ODATAV4/ i am unable to connect to the server.

The port have been allowed through the firewall for both inbound and outbound. Any suggestions or if any additional info is required, please let me know.

Hi, I have successfully tested it briefly before, but it was in BC17. I'm sorry that I didn't try it in detail in the latest version.

An important setting is the OData Base URL. After the changes are made, the URLs of the Web Services pages are changed.

HI,

I have done it in Dynamics NAV.

There used to be an additional step to Configure the Access Control List and the web services port for SSL.
