Have customer using smartlist and smartlist builder. When using standard smartlists, if you doubleclick on a record to drill into it, it always takes you to transaction entry screen, rather than transaction entry zoom. This happens whether or not transaction status is open, history or in work. Any thoughts as to what setting is missing?

Hi Mahmoud: Thank you for responding. I appreciate your explanation. In my testing on a couple of different installs, your description is exactly what I found. But, on this particular customer, when I doubleclick on an open transaction, it is still opening the transaction entry screen. If I then try to put in the journal number of the one I am trying to drill into, it tells me, that transaction is already posted. I am also working with MS on this, and their first suggestion was to try disabling all 3rd party products, so we’ll see.

Regarding the standard smart list, clicking on a record such as Journal entry or receivable transaction which is "un-posted" will open up the transaction entry window. Although, if it is posted (either open or history), it will open up the inquiry window. Posted transactions would never open up a transaction entry window.
Furthermore, with the release of the new smart list designer, there is a new feature which enables you to customize the "Go To" behavior and setup which windows to be open.
Although, in my humble opinion, Smart List builder still have a more powerful Go To feature than the current smart list designer one.
