    Below are the steps to set up and run leave accruals effectively:
     
    Step 1: Define Leave and Absence Plans
    1. Navigate to Human Resources > Leave and Absence.
    2. Select Create New Plan and enter details such as Name, Start Date, Description, and Leave Type.
    3. Configure Accrual Frequency (e.g., annually, monthly, or custom).
    4. Set up Accrual Period Basis (e.g., plan start date, employee-specific date).
    Step 2: Configure Accrual Rules
    1. Under the Accruals Tab, define policies for awarding leave.
    2. Choose Accrual Frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
    3. Specify Accrual Award Date (e.g., period end date).
    4. Set up Maximum Carry-Over and Minimum Balances if applicable.
    Step 3: Run Accruals for Employees
    1. Go to Leave and Absence > Manage Leave > Accrue Leave and Absence Plans.
    2. Select Accrue as of Today’s Date or enter a custom date.
    3. Choose whether to process accruals for all companies or a single leave plan.
    4. If needed, set up a recurring job for automatic accruals.
    Step 4: Monitor and Adjust Accruals
    1. Review accrual records under Leave and Absence Reports.
    2. If necessary, delete accruals for specific employees or plans.
    3. Adjust accrual settings based on company policies.
