Workflow message processing/Workflow message processing task - Error

Hello everybody

(AX2012 R2)

I am experiencing an issue that every 5 (approx every 10 min) there is an issue with the Workflow message processing task within the Workflow message processing batch job. 

By reading the log it sounds like its trying to move a posted journal (in this case approval journals)

I have read several articles which similar issues.

This comes very close but without the AOS crash which the article unfortunately focuses on (https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/33/p/246034/681808#681808).

Some say that i have delete some error records from SysWorkflowMessageTable but i don't quite understand which records and if it will help my problem (https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/33/t/197730).

Can anybody help me with this issue?

    Hi,

    this could have multiple reasons, I would recommend the following:

    1. Check on the AOS where the batch is running if there are Event-Logs giving you a more detailed message.

    For Workflows I've seen in the Eventlog sometimes logs.

    2. Connect as a client directly to the affected AOS

    Try to deactivate in the "Inbound ports" the "SysWorkflow" services.

    Then activate it again.

    Hope this solves your issue.
