Client Side SOAP or Web API Authentication to CRM Online using Java Script (External HTML Web Page)

Hi All,

Do you have any idea on how to connect to CRM Online from an external HTML Web Page using pure Java Script (SOAP or Web API)? I see below blog which works only for CRM Online O365 authentication, looking for CRM Onlne STS authentication

    I don't think there's a secure way to authenticate with STS to your SOAP endpoint with JavaScript only. You probably need an intermediate api to do the authentication for you.

    I have another question. Is it possible to configure CRM credentials in SPA config (like service credentails) instead of authenticating end customer credentials. In fact we do not need Sing-in page to be displayed to the customer


    We have an Intranet HTML UI page talking to CRM Online (behind the scenes). We need to populate customer details in HTML, which are stored in CRM Contact. Customer is not an user in CRM. We are also evaluating MuleSoft ESB if Client Side does not work out. Appreciate responses
