HI Guys,

has anyone any experience with QR codes and Word templates? I would like to put some CRM data into QR code and show it on Word template.

I know its possible using doc core pack. community.dynamics.com/.../mscrm-document-core-pack-dcp

Hi

You do not need any third party tool to add QR Code anymore. You can save the image with record using the new file type and then you can insert that image to word template.

Just as an example, see the following screenshot from CDS Saturday event - "CDS File Storage", This example shows how signature is inserted, you can have the QR code image instead.

Also just wanted to mention here that if you need a QR code control to have it on your form, you could look at PCF Gallery

Thanks Kokulan for useful info above.

Is there any way I can generate QR Code from one of field (Url as text) and insert into Word template while downloading it.

Also, Url field could be updated by end users.. in this case, QR code should auto update too.
