How to transfer access rights

Dear Friends

I used XrmToolBox to transfer view, dashboards and charts from one CRM application to another, but the access rights does not go across, i have to again give access rights on the destination CRM application, is there anyway where i can transfer access as well?

Hi Rabelani,

The best way to move security role access with Dynamics CRM solution.

- Create separate solution

- Navigate to security role from left pane of solution window and add existing security roles.

- Export solutions

- Import to another environment.

You have to share the dashboards, views, charts again in each environment as this object sharing access rights are stored in POA table, this is data & cannot be moved as part of solution or xrmtoolbox.

Do you mean security roles? You can export & import them by using Solutions.
