CRM 2013 Online and On-Premise Exchange server Setup

Hello,

I am working on setting up email router to connect CRM 2013 online and on premise exchange via the email router. Few things I am running into -

  1. Will a email server profile need to be created in CRM 2013 online?
  2.  The outgoing profile is connected to an IP address.
  3. The incoming profile is connected to https://mail.company.com but when I click on 'Test Access' for a user; it gives an error for the incoming profile - Incoming Status: Failure - The specified object was not found in the store. Verify that the specified user credentials have Receive permission on the target mailbox. The request failed with the error message:--<head><title>Document Moved</title></head><body><h1>Object Moved</h1>This document may be found <a HREF="https://mail.company.com/owa/">here</a></body>--.

Your suggestions will be very helpful.

Thanks.

What user are you using to test the Email Router?  Does it have a mailbox?

    Wayne,

I am testing one of the system admin users to test. His account has mailboxes. The error is same across all the users. The incoming profile is also set to use the same account under 'Access Credentials' where as the Outgoing profile is set to 'Local System Account' access type.

When I go in CRM Settings--> Email Configurations--> Mailboxes and open the same user account. The server profile is set to Microsoft Exchange Online (default profile OOB). Do I need to add a server profile here or the email router will take care of this?

    Thanks.

    1. You don't need to set up email profile in CRM if you are using email router, but in system setting -> email choose Process Email using: Microsoft Dynamics 2013 email router.

    2. ok

    3.Change url to : mail.company/.../exchange.asmx

make sure you that you have access credentials set to other specified and

using some exchange admin account. this account need access to users mailbox

example: Add-ADPermission -Identity " Wayne" -User CRMemailrouterUser -extendedRight ms-Exch-EPI-May-Impersonate

    Best regards
