Hello,

Does someone know how to add the column status in a view on User entity ?

It is not shown in the list of columns.

Best regards

    Hi,

Instead of a status, for the system user you want to look at the Is Disabled field.

Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as Answering your question.

    Thanks,

    Hi SVD,

You're right - Is Disabled (display name = Status) isn't available from the column view. I have no idea why you can't pick that as a column.

    Thanks,

A way to accomplish this is to create a custom two-option (bit) field on the user entity whose values match the native isdisabled field.  Then, you can write a workflow that copies the native isdisabled value to your custom field.  The only problem is that you cannot trigger workflows to run on user status change (a.k.a change of native isdisabled value) so you have to run the workflow manually against all of your user records.  After that, you can consume your custom field as a related column in other entity views.  We use a bulk recurring workflow job (something we built) to run this nightly but you could also use Scribe or custom code to keep the field up to date.

i have created a microsoft idea for this ... we may not be the only ones to have this as an ADF view (modern ADF) in columns of systemuser entity (personal plus systemviews of course):

    Microsoft Idea (dynamics.com)

sometimes i really wonder how they can create such fields and then forget to make it possible to simply add it as a column... even though the whole system is based on active or inactive status (again: why enabled/disabled, when we usually speak of active/inactive... just wondering, and wondering....)

(btw. in the past such field was even not possible)

cannot add it even with xrmtoolbox

I upvoted the idea. I am amazed this column still is not available to choose in Advanced Find.
