    Hi Johnny,

Yes there are many customers using CRM 2011 Update Rollup 10. I am also using this in multiple test environments.

    Hi Aaron,

We've just installed RU10 for CRM 2011 over the weekend.

After the installation we got the following error.

    C:\program files (x86)\microsoft office\office14\outloo has stopped working

    Problem signature:

     Problem Event Name: CRMUnmanaged

     Problem Signature 01: 5.0.9690.2730

     Problem Signature 02: OUTLOOK.EXE

     Problem Signature 03: -1

     Problem Signature 04: QueryPosition

     OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.16.7

     Locale ID: 5129

    We are using Outlook 2010.

    Citrix XenApp 6.5

    Windows 2008 server R2

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Johnny

    Thanks Johnny,

Are you using folder redirection and SQL CE 4.0?

    hi Aaron,

Yes, we don't store file locally. All files are stored in the network drive (via citrix).

Our SQL is 2008 R2 version.

    Thanks

    Johnny

    Thanks Johnny,

This is a known issue that is being investigated for a fix with Update Rollup 10. The current workaround is to roll back to Update Rollup 8 or do not use SQL CE 4.0 and folder redirection. These would need to be stored locally. The issue is with the code for SQL CE 4.0 and Update Rollup 10 specifically.

    Hi Aaron,

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

So Microsoft is aware of this issue and will release another fix soon?

Currently our CRM server and Citrix client have RU 10 installed and we are currently trying to roll back to RU for our Citrix client to RU 8.

    We'll keep you posted.

    Thanks

    Johnny

    Hi Aaron,

We have now rolled back our Citrix client to RU 8 version and kept the CRM server on RU 10 and it seems to be working ok. I will keep testing.

Please keep me posted any development on this.

    Thanks

    Johnny

    Hello All

Do you have any report to say here regarding the case above? We have the exact same situation, Citrix Outlook client that runs with SQL CE 4.0. We have issues with performance say searching for a company record in default Active Accounts view. This takes 30 seconds to search within 150.000 records. Is the re release of roll up 10 for crm 2011 will solve both the cases wiht outlook as well as SQL CE in Citrix ?

    regards

    joon

    Hi Aaron,

We have the same errors popping up and we no not use folder redirection nor do we use SQL CE 4.0.  Moving to RU 11 hasn't changed the issue.

    Thanks!

    Matt
