Cost Price In Inventory Movement Journal

Cost price is not shown automatically in the movement journal. I am trying to issue an item. However, the correct amount is posted to the accounts after posting.

I checked the "latest cost price" check box in the released product. It is automatically getting unchecked when I close the released product screen.

However, cost price is properly shown in the movement journal when I enter the cost price manually in the "Price" area of the released product.

Hi,

When you put negative quantity the cost price is applied. You cannot manullay setup a specific price that's why the field is disable.

Check your transactions from your item you will see the results.

Indeed, the cost price is not displayed, it's standard.

Dear Ludwig,

As shown in the screen shot. I cannot see the cost price in the movement journal line. I have entered negative quantity also.

Yes, it's a bit surprising but if you check, you cannot enter manually any price when the quantity is negative.

More, if you see transaction from the item, you will find the cost price on your transaction. Check it and tell us ?

Yes, Yohann. Cost price is properly posted.

The problem is warehouse team will not have any idea about the cost of the item issued.

Cost prices for issue transactions can't be entered manually, AX determines them.
