LCS Dynamics project security roles

Hi, 

In our D365 FO implementation project for our client,  I need to assign the right LCS roles to multiple users.

I have a developper who needs to publish power bi reports in sandbox and Production environments, what is the LCS role that I should assigne to him ? knowing that he must not have access to apply updates like deployable package to sandbox and production environments

I found this description on the Microsoft documentation site, but I am still unable to identify the right role.

    Hi Kgh,

    The Operation user role should be enough to upload the new Power BI report to the Asset library in LCS, while it won't have access to apply packages to environments.

    Thank you Nikolaos,

    but I think that after uploading  the deployable package to the AssetLibrary in LCS,  

    the developper  need to upload the new Power BI report to the Asset library in LCS under Power BI report model asset type.

    Please I need more explanation to ensure that this developer does not need access to LCS when embedding custom power bi reports into D365 FO

    What kind of custom Power BI reports? Are they something that you implemented inside D365? Or what?

    If they're implemented inside D365, then you deploy them with your deployable packages.

    If they're something you defined outside D365, then LCS is not involved at all.
