Hi when I try to install the CU13 to an AOS it stops with an error. In the Logfiles there is a message that AxSetupUI.resources.dll is missing in Setup.

I just downloaded the setup so everything needed should be there

Can somebody help?

    Hi Chris,

Have you actually checked yourself if the file is present or missing? Did you extract the zip file or did you try to run the setup from within the zipped file?

    Hi

The file is definetely missing. I run the installation after extraction and I tried a slipstream installation on a blank system as well.

    Hi Chris,

You can try to download again. If it is not there, contact Microsoft Support and create an incident.

Same problem here; just downloaded a hotfix for ax 2012 R3 and AxSetupUI.resources.dll is missing, so we cannot install the package.

Any solutions? Anywhere we can get this dll from?

We just found a solution, altough it was a long shot.

It seems like both files are the same, so in the package, there is a dll named "axsetupsp.resources.dll" at the support\axsetupresources\LANGUAGE folder; just make a copy of this dll and name it "AxSetupUI.resources.dll"

    For us, this worked.

Also, In our case, we found a copy of the dll at: C:\Users\MyUser\AppData\Local\Temp\AxSetupSP\es
