Assembly Order Item Tracking Quantity Link to Line

We are looking for a way to simplify our data entry for Assembly Order lines with Item Tracking. We would like for the Item Tracking quantity to update when the user adjusts the quantity on the Assembly Header (which correspondingly updates the quantity on the Assembly Line). Out of the box, after we adjust quantity we also have to make the same adjustment on each line's Item Tracking quantity. Is there a way to simplify this out of the box? We didn't see a way to achieve it, so looked at coding a solution. However, the Reservation system seems to make this much more complicated to implement. Does anyone have any pointers on how to achieve this? We were hoping to start with simple Assembly Orders which generally have BOM lines that are only fed from one Lot Number, but our hope was to potentially implement something similar for Assemble-To-Order Assembly Orders such that changing the quantity on the Sales Order line items would flow all the way down to the ATO Assembly Order Lines without having to drill down and adjust each line's Item Tracking quantity.

Thank you!

    Hi Jared,

I understand the issue, But if you posting partial Assembly order then this issue will always happen. In base if you change Quantity to assemble system auto change the Quantity to consume but it's wouldn't update same on Item tracking lines as if user select multiple lots again single component. If component have only 1 lot no. to consume then you can try to add Lot no selection on Assembly component line so instead going to another page user can select lot on same assembly component line. else you can use other suggestions.
