When i change/Edit any document in SharePoint... I have a list of people to whom the mail should be sent to
are distibution group adn ADSecurty group both are same or different??
how to know the list of people which group does they belongs to?

AD Security group is the group available in AD of your domain (Example: Windows Server AD).
Distribution Group is within the SharePoint, still it would have members from AD (Groups as well as users).
