NAV 2018

Greetings. I recently purchased Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 a few weeks ago. It is the first time using the software. My company was previously using QuickBooks and needed an upgrade. Unfortunately, I do not see any training for NAV 2018 on the E-learning listings. With this being my first time ever using the software, and being in dire need to quickly understand everything, what can I use as a substitute for E-learning? Should I look at the NAV 2017 e-learning modules? Or is there somewhere else I can get the 2018 e-learning modules?

    Hello,

Those e-learnings you mention, are on the Customer Source?

Normally, you should get access to Microsoft's Customer Source when you get NAV.

In the customer source you should be able to find related documentation, even process scripts for different modules.

In the Partner source i found this:

    Workshop.jpg

Should be available for customers also.

And, on the following post you can find some interesting answers:

At any rate, usually you should get service from a MS Certified Parter to implement the ERP on your company.

Yes, I was referring to the Customer Source. That course version in your screenshot is not available on Customer Source it seems. I see the exact same course for NAV 2017 (but not 2018). We did purchase the software from an MS Certified Partner; however I wanted to do my independent due diligence to learn about NAV 2018 as well.  Seems this e-learning is not available for Customer Source yet...

Well, It will be difficult but not impossible.

First that all, as other users mention on the post that I pointed, basically there is no official manuals or information from MS, but, if you want to execute all of those process to implement, you can get the information from the web.

    You can start from here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/installation-and-configuration-walkthroughs

(and you have the option to send all of that information to PDF).

And, in a very general reach, you will find information in several blogs and forums of the community, as this one.

I think it is very difficult to get a fine documentation for the whole process, but, again, it is not impossible.

Good luck! And here we all are to help when you have doubts!

Honestly, you can read any materials from 2013 release and they'll be still actual :)

On youtube there are tons of learning videos. For example:
