RTM alternate exit / end journey / Exit when a trigger occurs / Exit by segments

Hi,

I have a onboarding email journey in RTM that starts with a segment from Customer Insights.

The problem is that every time Customer insights gets refreshed/updated people thats been through the journey goes through again. (Luckily it's still just a test segment)

Therefor I would like to set up a blocklist so the once who has been through the journey can't go through again.

I have tried Exit when a trigger occurs, but I get this message: The selected trigger is not supported for the current data source.

I also tried Exit by segments, but I can´t use a outbound segment or build a rtm-segment based on an action (email delivered, email sent ect)

Any ideas how I can solve this?

    Hi Leah,

    Thanks for your respond.

What do you mean by "If people have been through the journey, you can use one field flag them."

How do I create a segment of those who has been trough the journey in RTM?

    Hi JohannaJ,

In Real-time marketing Segment-based journey, there is one action--Exclude this segment:

--Members of this segment will not be allowed to start the journey. Specifying an exclusion segment lets you remove anyone from the Audience that starts the journey.

If people have been through the journey, you can use one field flag them.

Then you can use the flag filed to create one new segment, go to the right-side pane in the journey editor and select Entry criteria. Then, go to Exclude this segment and select any segment you want to exclude.
