Can i send emails to users without Exchange online License

Hello,

I have a User I Dynamics CE that has a Team Member license, is it possible to send email to this user without an exchange license? Would I be able to test and enable the mailbox and the queue, or is an Exchange online license needed to be able to send emails just to this user in CE and not from?

Hi partner,

Yes, if you want to send emails from dynamics 365, you should have the exchange online license.

Hi Denzo

You would need a license & not the end user.

You can then test & enable the mailbox, all users in O365 will receive an email from CRM saying that - "Your mailbox is now connected to Dynamics 365"

You can use server-side synchronization to synchronize Dynamics 365 with Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo, and other POP3 email servers. Note, however, that you can’t synchronize appointments, contacts, and tasks with POP3 email servers.
