Shortcut Dimensions on Journal and Document Lines

According to this documentation the six shortcut dimensions should be available as fields on journal and document lines. When I go to "Choose columns" on a journal entry, sales quote/order/invoice, or purchase order/invoice all I see are the two global dimensions. Is there an additional setup to add the shortcut dimensions as columns on these windows?

I have the same question (0)

Did you add them on the 'General Ledger Setup' window?  I think they just need to be added here, but let me know if that doesn't work.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Yep, they were already added as Shortcut Dimension 3 and 4, see below.

    Hey Brian,

I'm seeing the same problem in my environment.  I'm checking with some additional resources internally and will update this thread when I have more info.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hello Brian,

I confirmed that this isn't currently working as intended.  We have it written up with the Development team to be fixed in a future update.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Hello, I'm experiencing a similar issue for the Sales Invoice and Purchase Invoice Lines (I believe this is true for all non journal pages). I can add Dimension 1 and 2 via personalization but shortcut dimension 3-8 are not available to add. Is this a known issue or am i just missing something?

Build: US Dynamics NAV 11.0 (19837)

    Thank you,

    Robert

Hello Chris - I have this same question and as this post is quite old am wondering if there has been a change that now allows us to add the shortcut dimensions to the Journal Lines?  And if it hasn't been changed, is there a way to customize it with programming?

    Thanks for your help!

Hello - Is there a permission associated for a user to see shortcuts 3-8 as columns in Gen Journal via personalization? I can see the columns with my permission level and able to add these columns, but not with our day-to-day user. Thanks for the help.
