Cannot save Dynamics 365 opportunities to Sharepoint online

I'am currently working on integrating sharepoint online with dynamics 365. I have done the integration and it worked fine. I have integrated so all content is saved on specific/individual account with all the entitys like opportunity, leads and more. My problem is that I can only save files/documents to the account and its displayed in sharepoint. But when i try to create/save opportunities or leads, the folder on the account its not displayed/saved to that account. The funny thing is that the connection works but not everything is saved in sharepoint.

I have followed these sites to do the integration:

https://community.dynamics.com/crm/b/webfortisblogunleashingyourcrm/archive/2015/02/10/configure-sharepoint-online-and-crm-online

https://neilparkhurst.com/2016/05/16/mb2-713-certification-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2016-sales-integration-sharepoint/

As you can see in the end of the last link the opportunity folder is separated.

I recently found this link that I also tested to go after but with the same problem at the end. Could it be my trail version of Dynamics 365 that is the problem?

community.dynamics.com/.../mb2-716-certification-microsoft-dynamics-365-customization-and-configuration-document-management

To the problem then, is it a permission problem or have i missed something when i did the integration?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi

When Account is set as Based on Entity

We need to create the folder for the Account record before creating the folder for the related Opportunity record. If the Account Folder is not present, it would not create the Opportunity Folder.

    1. Make sure that the Opportunity record is associated with an Account record

    2. When in Account record, from navigation select Document (you will be presented with Document Associated Grid). This would create the folder for the Account first.

    3. You can check whether the folder is created or not either going to Settings -> Document Management -> SharePoint Document Location or in SharePoint (by  clicking Open Location in the Document Associated Grid)

    4. Now you go to the Opportunity record related to this Account.

    5. Select Document in the Navigation

    6. This should open the Document Associated Grid. Now the folder would be created under the above Account/<AccountName_AccountGUID>/Opportunity/

    Hi Gopalan Bhuvanesh!

    Thanks for your quick answer!

Yes to both of your questions and I'm admin on both systems. I have done the integration twice now and the same thing have happened. I dont know what to do, it should work. Some other ideas that may help?

    Regards Erik Lindblom

    Hi

    Please check the following:

You have selected Opportunity (and other entities for which you want to have SharePoint folders created) in the Documents Management Settings?

You have enabled Document Management in the Entity Definition?
