Quick Print Replacement

Posted on by 170

Hello,

I am writing for help, knowing that there have been a number of posts regarding the absence of Quick Print in GP 2013 R2 when the Action Pane is enabled.  We work with a customer that wants to have Quick Print functionality for sales orders that have either been previously saved, or just entered and not yet saved, while at the same time retaining the use of the Action Pane.

We have recorded two separate macros to do this printing, one for saved sales orders, and the second for a not yet saved order.  This has not proved to be satisfactory to the customer--they want an all-in-one solution.

What are the options that we have to satisfy the request?  Does a third party product exist to supply this functionality?  Do we need custom Dexterity code?  Can we use VBA programming?

We would welcome any thoughts, suggestions and recommendations.

Thank you.
