Management Reporter no longer getting updates since SP2 was pushed

Posted on by 345

Hello again,

I've been busy trying to put out fires caused by SP2 being pushed without proper testing/backups.

Our reports will generate but I've been told by our Accounting Manager that any changes he's made since SP2 aren't showing up in the generated financial reports.

I'm curious if anyone has any thought on what might cause something like that.  The changes show up in back office and I'm using all of the Account codes from our chart of account maintenance.

Most likely it is the version of Management Reporter you are using. I saw this issue in Cumulative Update 7 and we had to roll client back to CU 6 using Legacy until it was resolved.

Check your Integration logs and download Cumulative Update 8,which was released in Feb/March 2014.

The issue went away when the service account was added to Solomon.  It's possible that this account wasn't being used in the previous configuration or that SP2 wiped it out.
