Not able to select Serial number - Manufacturing Component Transaction Entry

Posted on by 728

I am trying to ISSUE to a Manufacturing order.

If I try to Post, it says there are no items on the "Pick Document"

I select the item and I then receive the screen to select serial number.

There are no serial numbers to select.  Why would this be happening?

I deleted the record on the MOP1210 table by way of SQL.

Once I deleted it, I ran a reconcile and a checklink.  The issue was resolved at this point.

What kind of Pick Doc is MPK0092917?  (Allocate, Reverse Allocate, Issue, Reverse Issue, Scrap, Reverse Scrap)

Can you open Pick Document MPK0092917? or is MPK0092917 posted? Allocate and Reverse Allocate Docs are "posted" when saved.  Depending on your Manufacturing setup, Items may have been Allocated when the Manufacturing Order was Released.

I found the following as well:

Should not I have an associated record on the MOP1200 table?

Here is what I have when I run the query you provided. It only returns two records:

select MANUFACTUREORDER_I, ITEMNMBR, SERLTNUM, FROM_SITE_I, DOCNUMBR from MOP1020 where ITEMNMBR =@ITEMNMBR

    MANUFACTUREORDER_I ITEMNMBR SERLTNUM FROM_SITE_I DOCNUMBR

    select MANUFACTUREORDER_I, ITEMNMBR, ATYALLOC from MOP1400 where ATYALLOC > 0 and ITEMNMBR = @ITEMNMBR

    MANUFACTUREORDER_I ITEMNMBR ATYALLOC

    MO0066075                       MTSUMOC2SBC-Q-B                 1.00000

    Step 1

Is the Inventory available to be issued or not?

    Hello Tim,

The reconcile did not resolve the issue.  Do you have any thoughts on how I should proceed?

    Thank you,

    Will

    Tim,

I did an item specific reconcile last evening. It has not corrected the issue.

An Item specific Inventory Reconcile should fix most problems.  (I say most, because we have come across issues that won't be fixed.)

RE: Not able to select Serial number - Manufacturing Component Transaction Entry

Tim, thank you for the reply.  There is one available for the component.  I found that the pick document for this MO has a record on the MOP1210 table, but not on the MOP1200 table.  From what I know, this should not be the case.  How would I best fix this?

When you enter a Manufacturing Order number, the Items tab should populate from the BOM.  You then should set your quantities and when you're happy with what you've done, press the Add to Pick Doc button.  The Pick Doc. tab shows you what will be posted when you hit Post.

Check and see that the component you're trying to issue has Available quantities.
