Generate Delivery Note for an in-completed Load (not confirm outbound shipment yet)

Hi guys,

We create a load with multiple SO then pick them via Pick list.

Issue: we cannot generate Delivery Note when we have not completed to pick 10 orders. I understand that the standard function requires us to complete picking 10 orders > outbound shipment confirmation > generate Delivery Note. However, on AX2012, system allowed us to do that.

For example: The load has 10 sales orders and we picked 5 orders (50% load completed), then we can generate Delivery Note for these picked orders on AX2012 R3.

Question: How can we setup same function on D365?

We need it due to our work load in Warehouse office.

    Hi ETT,

    Are all these 10 orders part of same shipment? What is the status of the shipment?

    Did you try breaking the load? enable the below checkbox and transfer open work to new shipment and post packing slip for picked qty.
