Management Reporter Issue

ReportReport
Posted on by 110

I notice that Management Reporter doesn´t recognize the reverse journal entry type.

Here is the scenario:

- First, we enter a normal journal entry (We use Analytical Accounting)

- Second, we choose the "Fix" option on the journal entry window and select the prior journal entry, with the "Reverse" option

- We notice that the "reverse" journal entry doesn´t ask for the Analytical Accounting Dimensions.

- So, when we generate the MR report, only displays the first journal entry values

This is happened in Dynamics GP2013 with MR2012

Thanks, for your help.

Are you using the Data Mart or the Legacy version of MR?

I was still running version CU7 of Management Reporter and was able to validate this behavior on that version deployed using data mart.  Even refreshing cached financial data did not resolve the issue.  Installing CU9 resolved this issue.  If you are using a version other than CU7, please post the version number.  CU7's version number is 2.1.7044.43.

My version is 2.1.9001.11. Will installing CU9 resolved the issue?

    Thanks,

    RE: Management Reporter Issue

    Louise,

2.1.9001.11 is CU9, ugh!  I am unsure as to what the problem is.  I updated to CU9 and ran sample transactions through my system, and did not experience the problems, which had manifested in CU7 (a release I have had a host of problems with).  It might be time to engage Microsoft Tech Support.  Prior to doing so, perhaps someone could backup the MR databases, and recreate them to eliminate the possibility of a problem with the integration from the equation?
