Hi,
Is there any specific automated testing that needs to be followed for testing a simple master data, transaction data or sys framework process.
Can importing a task recording to a visual studio be applied for all cases ?
And also i am confused in which scenario exactly can the ATL be used.

ALT can be used to automated the end to end customer scenario.
if just test a simple master data, transaction data, you don't need to automated using ATL.
when you open the VS integrated with Dynamics 265, you can find all the ATL class and find the related example about how to use it.
