I think you are asking what is the criteria normally used in warehouses for selecting containers for manual containerization process.
If that is the ask then its a manual decision on packer to decide which container the shipment is to be packed. This is purely a business packer decision from predefined customer rules.
To make stuff systematic you can however make multiple packing profiles representing a type of packing.
So if I am shipping goods to Europe and UK, I will define two packing profiles one for each and will map respective container type on them.
So if packer is packing for Europe he selects Pack euro pallet profile and container type is auto defaulted.
