    Hello

Old AX2009 Reports cannot be editet in VS.

New AX2012 SSRS Reports cannot be edited in AOT. It's not clear which reports you speak about.

In VS in Application Explorer you will see all AOT objects and there you are able to open SSRS Reports.

Do you see AOT objects in Application Explorer?

    Regards

    Hi

Part 1 of this tutorial describes a old style "MorphX" Report that will not be able to be editet in VS, but you should be able to localize it in AOT under "Reports" and to edit from there.

    Hi

First you have to connect VS to Dynamics AX.

With AX2012 R3 you must use VS 2013 and you have to install Visual Stutio Tools from original AX setup.

Please refer to official MS resources or ask your AX partner.

    Regards

    Hi,

you need to install the visual studio 2010 professional and above ( with AX 2012 R2) or visual studio 2013 professional or above ( with AX 2012 R3).

then you need to install the Visual studio tools. ( this can be installed from AX 2012 installation package).

you can then edit the AX 2012 SSRS report. You can edit the report by opening the visual studio project directly from AOT ( right click on project and choose edit) or open visual studio and open application explorer and edit from there.

following is the link to step by step instructions to edit the report after installing the required components.
