Hello,

If I updated Dynamics 356 CRM server to the latest version on my front-end instance and now I want to downgrade to a previous version, how can I do that.
Do I have to uninstall all Dynamics 365 server?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Gheorghe.

    It works like this.
Any D365 Update(CU) will "by default" update the files on the server it is executed on along with upgrading the MSCRM_CONFIG database along with any <Org>_MSCRM(Content) databases that is mounted to that deployment.
So if we assume you have not run the following PS script..

    Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.Crm.PowerShell
set-crmadvancedsetting -configurationentityname Deployment -setting AutomaticallyInstallDatabaseUpdates -value $false

.. Both, your server files, MSCRM_CONFIG, along with any <Org>_MSCRM have been upgrades and you only reasonable options is depending of these two questions:
    1. First off, if you have backup files of MSCRM_CONFIG along with any of the <Org>_MSCRM databases prior to the upgrade?
    2. Second would be if can restore the servers if VM, with e.g. snapshots?

At the end of the day, you will need to restore both server files(binaries) along with restoring backups, since all have been upgraded(assuming you havent run the script above, and haven't manuallly upgrades the invdividual Org dbs that is).

    Best regards.
    Philip
