Hello all,
My requirement is to do Power BI reporting with data from D365 Finance & Operations.
For this, the plan is to create a data warehouse on Azure synapse Analytics and then do generate reports with it.
Could anyone pls guide me on how to share the data from D365 FO to Azure Synapse? Any resources or written steps here would be appreciated.

You can export data to Azure Data Lake. Then tools like Azure Synapse and Power BI can both query the data. See also the documentation: Export to Azure Data Lake overview - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs

What would be the benefits of using Azure data lake in between instead of directly using OData feeds to share data between D365 Finance and Azure Synapse?
The main difference is the performance. OData is not designed for large data sets.
You can use Skyvia to connect D365 to Azure Synapse. You can either replicate Dynamics data to DWH and then set up the connection to Azure Synapse. Hope it helps.
