How does Regional discovery shutting down affects plugin customization (Online)

Hello guys,

I'd like to confirm whether or not the regional discovery deactivation affects our plugins (registered on an online enviroment). So far it doesn't seem to be any problem but I am not sure whether this is because more service deactivations are about to come. Can somebody confirm what we should check to not have problems in the future?

    if inside your plugins you don't connect to other Dynamics instances you are ok. (if you create an IOrganizationService to connect to the same instance the plugin is running, there are no problems)
