Use Microsoft Dynamics contract management in isolation?

Hello together

Is it possible to use the Contract Management app from and for Dynamics 365 Business Central in isolation? So only as a contract repository without a connection to an ERP?

I suppose yes. When you buy a Business Central license, you decide which functionality you want to use or not.

It won't have an effect on the pricing, so don't expect a discount ;-)

As our colleague mentioned, you can work with any ERP modules you want; you just need to identify and know how to configure them to use them.

If this is the case, I think it would be easiest to create a simple app on Power Apps using Dataverse as the database.

Hope this can give you some hints.
