There is no OOB way to export charts to excel/word from dashboard
You can export view data to excel using dynamic sheet and use pivot to create charts.
I've used this to export charts as image files (PNG) to use in blog articles about charts:
dashboardchartexporter.codeplex.com
It opens a new window with all the charts from a dashboard as images which you can then download as normal (eg right click > save image as...). It also saves the last version as web resources so you can go back and get them that way too.
You could use this to export charts to use in a report or presentation, for example, but obviously they won't be interactive or scaleable as they are just bitmap images.
Hi, someone knows if Dashboard Chart Exporter works in CRM 365?
It does but in one case I see that the Dashboard chart that is exported looks a little different than the one in the Dashboard so make sure you test prior to releasing to users. Excellent tool!
Moran, there is no easy way, except for using the dashboard chart exported, which should work fine for you as you are using CRM On-Prem.
You can also create your charts directly in Excel using Filtered Views if this does not work for you.
